Holidays - we understand you love taking your pet on holiday as much as we do; but the business has now grown to paying full time staff, insurances and other professional fees. In order to retain your pet’s place for when you return, walking fees will be charged at 50% whist you’re away. 

Un-planned cancellations - if your dog is taken unwell, there will be no charge for absence. Any other cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. 

Weekends & Bank Holidays - there are no charges made if your session falls on a Bank Holiday. If you require your dog walked on a Weekend or Bank Holiday we will accomodate you if we have staff available. Increased charges will apply on these days.  

Although Bella & Friends holds Public Liability insurance, wherever possible pets should be insured by the client. Bella & Friends reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.

The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Bella & Friends.

The client must provide the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available we reserve the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.

Bella & Friends must be alerted to any behavioural problems with their pets at the time of booking. 

All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.

Bella & Friends reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/or other dogs.

Bella & Friends will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence, Bella & Friends cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.

No bitches in season can attend group walks. 

All dogs on group walks will be exercised off-lead unless prior agreement has been made with Bella & Friends. 

The walker will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary, in the case of extreme weather conditions (ie: heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.

We will try our best to return your pet home as clean as possible. We carry a water hose on each vehicle and will quickly towel dry them as best we can. We cannot be held responsible for any dirt brought into the home by your dog.

Bella & Friends will use best endeavours to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however, by your acceptance of these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that we wiil not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your property. 

You consent to your dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising without prior approval. All such media shall remain the property of Bella & Friends.

You agree that Bella & Friends are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing or any other item left with their dog.
